Age 75, of Valois, NY, passed away May 29, 2016. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Valois-Hector-Logan Fire Department in Hector, NY. Anna was born in Montour Falls, NY on May 12, 1941, to the late Robert and Margaret (Funk) Holford. Survivors include her husband, John M. Munroe; sons, James R. Munroe (Susan Cecce); and Michael J. Munroe; daughter, Tammy L. Munroe (Robert Carrigan); brothers, Robert Holford Jr. (JoAnn), James A. Munroe, and Richard E. Munroe (Ann); sisters, Elizabeth Landon (Alfred) and Pat Chaffie; 7 grandchildren, Marisha Munroe, Jeffrey Munroe, John Munroe, Shauna Carrigan, Kylee Carrigan Jessica Cecce, and Katie Cecce; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and cousins. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the V-L-H Fire Department or V-L-H Women’s Auxiliary, PO Box 46, Hector, NY 14841.
