Araminta (Wilson) Howe
Age 98, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015. She was born in Bovina, NY on November 21, 1917, the daughter of Harry and Jessie McCumber. She was predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers, a sister, and two grandchildren, Harry and Debra Wilson. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Harry Wilson and Alfred Howe; and two sons, Gordon and Ronald Wilson. She is survived by her son, Charles L. (Carol) Wilson, of Watkins Glen; daughter-in-law, Linda Wilson, sister-in-law, Anna McCumber; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00am at the Moreland Community Presbyterian Church, 3045 Beaver Dams-Moreland Rd, Beaver Dams, NY 14812. A private committal service will held at the convenience of the family at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Flats. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to her church. She was longtime member of the Moreland Presbyterian Church and the Moreland Olive Branch Grange. She worked as an inspector at Eclipse and Thatcher Glass Company.
