Barbara L. Winters 

Age 88, of Valois, NY, passed away April 24, 2025.

Barbara was born in Manchester, CT on April 29, 1936, the only child of Louis and Helen Leidholdt.

She graduated from Temple University and later received her masters degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College. She started her career as a 5th grade school teacher at the Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia, PA, and later continued to teach nurses at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond, VA.

She is survived by her husband John R. Winters; and three adopted children, Thomas Paarfus, Richard Paarfus, and Ginna Zell.

She was buried with her parents at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.
