Betty J. Buckey

Age 95, of Watkins Glen, passed away October 11, 2025.

She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Elmer Buckley, in 2013. She was also predeceased by sons-in-law, Lyle Dencenburg, and Dean Thompson, daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Richard Rexford, and daughter-in-law, Susie Buckley, and daughter, Shirley (Corriveau) Walker.

She is survived by her children, Linda Dencenburg of Tyrone, Catherine Thompson of Reading Center, Chester Buckley (Helen) of Watkins Glen, Gordon Buckley (Tami Sue) of Beaver Dams, and Carl Buckley of Watkins Glen; 27 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, October 18th; followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm; and burial at Union Cemetery of Hector in Burdett. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
