BOND, Beverly Pierce

92, of Hector, NY, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday, August 29th from 1:00pm-3:00pm; followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm; burial at Hector Presbyterian Cemetery. A reception will be announced.

Beverly was born August 5, 1933 in Pennsylvania to Frances and Dorothy (Kriner) Hodge.

She was a member of the Reading Center Community Church and was a scout leader for many years. She won many archery tournaments over the years. She was also an avid quilt maker and enjoyed Sunday breakfast with the family. She was always willing to help her family and friends.

She retired from Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards in Hector, NY. She was a graduate of Dundee Central School (Class of 1951) and was a lifelong Yankee Fan. Her favorite Country Music singers were Eddy Arnold and Hank Williams.

Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Frances and Dorothy (Kriner) Hodge, stepmother Louise (Smalley) Hodge, husband, George Bond Sr., Arthur Pierce Sr. siblings; Joyce (Curtis) Keefer, Richard, David, Jack and Dean; stepchildren; Patricia Bond, Susan (Larry) Caslin, Charles (Lisa)Bond, Bruce (Angela) Bond, Timothy (Kathy) Bond and Larry Bond.

She is survived by her children Barbara (Ed) Corriveau, Arthur Pierce, Penny (Jeff) Mapes, Kevin Pierce, Wendy Pierce and Martin Pierce and her stepchildren Linda Knapp, George Jr. (Rita) Bond, Debra (Skip) Opdyke, Viola (Paul) Woodworth, Craig (David) Bond, Leslie (Scott) Crane. She is also survived by four siblings, Roxanne Jones, Debbie Kern, Sandy Hodge and Patty Warner; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
