Blanche Baldwin

Age 83, of Burdett, NY and formerly of Elmira, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, September 26, 2009.

Blanche is survived by her loving husband of 62, Walt Baldwin; their four children, Michael (Judith) Baldwin, of Amesville, OH; Daniel Baldwin, of Burdett, Jeffery (Sue) Baldwin, of Burdett, Michele Baldwin, of Watkins Glen; four grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jacob, Joseph, and Jonathan Baldwin; four great-grandchildren, Nehemiah, Abigail, Alexandria, and Mackenzie; sister and brothers, Francis Brusso, of Wayne, Richard (Carol) VanDeusen, of Elmira, and Robert (Myrtie) VanDeusen, of Elmira; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Henry) Bellavigna, and Barbara (Dave) Stoner. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Winifred VanDeusen.

She served her country during WWII as a member of the Women’s Army Corp. She worked at Rose, Kimball & Baxter, and Izard’s Department Store in Elmira; she worked as a Schuyler Home Health Aide until she retired.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the Family.
