Brian J. Rappleye 

Age 61 of Rock Stream, NY, peacefully passed away on April 2, 2024. 

Brian was born on October 23, 1962 in Montour Falls, NY. He is survived by his mother Genevieve (Harry) Goossen; son Joseph Swarthout; brothers, Harold J. (Vivian) Rappleye, Randy (Tina) Rappleye; sisters, Darlene Rappleye, Kim (Dale) Delong; several nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harold (Pete) Rappleye.

Brian's career began driving truck for the Town of Reading, then as a truck driver and equipment operator for Callahan Construction. His most recent and satisfying position was working for Elmira Structures, Inc.

You could always find Brian enjoying a couple of beers after work. Brian enjoyed hunting, riding ATV'S, Nascar, watching old western movies and his much-loved dog companions.

A gathering to honor Brains life will be held on Tuesday (April 9^th) at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4^th St., Watkins Glen from 6pm-8pm; followed by a funeral service honoring his life at 8:00pm.  Brian will be laid to rest at Lake View Cemetery in Watkins Glen the following day.
