GAMACHE

Bud of Reading Rd., Watkins Glen, NY, died peacefully at home early Sunday morning, November 5, 2006. He was surrounded by friends and family at the time of his passing. Bud is survived by his children, David Gamache (fiancée, Nora Salazar), Steve Gamache (wife, Robin), Becky Martinez (fiancé, Cody Whited), Missy Goltz; stepchildren, Timmer Harford, Tracy Del Priore (husband, Joe), Tricia Wright (husband, Doug); sisters, Eli Renbarger (husband, Vernon), Vera Kite-Field (husband, Charlie); and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Diane Gamache; and parents, David and Helen Gamache. Bud was an avid craftsman who always had a project going. He had a long work history of ranching, oil exploration and welding. In his later years he was an integral part of the Glen Motor Inn establishment. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9 at St. James Episcopal Church in Watkins Glen with Rev. Michael E. Hartney as celebrant. There are no prior visiting hours. A time for fellowship and sharing will be held at the Glen Motor Inn following services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830, or the American Lung Assoc., Finger Lakes Region, 1595 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14620. In his final days, he was greatly supported by Father Michael Hartney of St. James Episcopal Church and Southern Tier Hospice. Arrangements are by Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home in Watkins Glen.
