She was married to Carlton Fenton on her 20th birthday, Feb. 10, 1962. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, David; and two sisters, Mildred Ball and Sharon Wellman. She is survived by her husband of 54 years; a sister, Marilyn of Geneva; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Arlene and Vaughn Selby of Lansing; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol grew up in the Reynoldsville area and graduated from Odessa Central School. She and her husband lived in Bennettsburg, NY for several years; also Killeen Texas, Ithaca, and Rochester. 20 years ago they moved to Interlaken, where they ran a Family Care Home for individuals with developmental disabilities. She also loved doing genealogy. She and Carl spent many hours doing research on her family line. They also enjoyed traveling extensively in the United States. Her husband wishes to thank the wonderful and caring visiting nurses and aids who assisted Carol in her home during the last few days of her life. Due to their help, she was able to stay in the comfort of her home. Also, special thanks to our friends Bob and Jody Cornwell, Michael and Melissa Anderson and Mike Jr., and all who helped during this difficult time. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday, February 26th, from 12pm-2pm.
