John R. Cunningham
Age 67, of Watkins Glen, formerly of Monterey, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 16, 2022.
The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., on Tuesday (Nov. 22) from 3pm-5pm; followed by a memorial service at 5pm. A reception will be announced.
John was born in Corning, the son of the late Harold “James” and Helen Cunningham.
He was also predeceased by his brothers, Walter and Frank Cunningham.
He is survived by his wife Ramona Cunningham; beloved dog Gracie; sisters, Janet Switzer of Watkins Glen, Marge Cunningham of Monterey, and Mary Cunningham (Joe Mattison) of Monterey; God Daughter, Brittany Cunningham; special nieces and nephews, Franklin (Pam) Switzer, Debbie (Steve) Monks, Amanda (Karl) Goltry, Angela Mattison (Daryl), Kailey Araki; great-niece Loralei Mattison; sisters-in-law, Monica (Derrick) Araki, and Eva Cunningham; and several other nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
John worked for Wagner Vineyards in Lodi for 39 years.
Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Schuyler Humane Society (SchuylerHumane.org) or St. Jude Children’s Hospital (StJude.org)
