Donald D. Simpson
Age 60, of Rock Stream, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Tuesday (Sept. 24th) from 5pm-7pm; followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm. Don was the owner and operator of the Red & White Grocery Store in Monterey for more than 35 years. He loved racing, Buffalo Bills games and being with family. Don was predeceased by his parents Frank and Alberta, step-father George Smith, and several siblings and two nephews. He is survived by his wife Regina Simpson; daughters, Jeannette (Shaun) Gilbert, Jordann Simpson; grandchildren Joslynn and Isayiah; twin brother Ronald (Caroline) Simpson; brothers, Robert (Denise) Simpson, Frank Simpson, Harry (Tina) Smith; sister Beverly (Ronald) Cervoni; step brothers George, Ricky, and Kirk Smith; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loyal friends. The family wishes to thank the many wonderful staff, nurses and doctors at Schuyler Hospital for his care.
