Age 85, of Rock Stream, NY, passed away July 7, 2022.
Doris was a retired Civil Service Director for Schuyler County.
Doris was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 19, 1937, the daughter of the late Walter and Frances Blessing. She was also predeceased by her husband, Johnnie L. Craig, daughter Angela Mason, and grandson Jeremy Norris.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Michael Schultz of Ohio (grandchildren: David (Laura), Melissa (Thomas), Dustin (Becky), Patrick (Jessie) Natalie, and Sarah); daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Joe Hobbs of Ohio (grandchildren: Brad (Kari), and Tom); daughter, Sherry Benchic of Ohio (grandchildren: Matthew, Andrew (Renea) and Christopher (Megan); son, R. Bruce McWilliams, Jr. of Indiana (grandchildren: Dawn (Tony), and Summer); daughter, Christi Tilley of Ohio (grandchildren: Mitch (Angee), Ryan (Ashleigh), Grace, and Alizabeth; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Lou DeBolt of Rock Stream (grandchildren: Shawn (Tyrah) and Sarah (Bryan); and several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Friday (July 15) from 6pm-8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday (July 16) at 10:00am at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 905 N. Decatur St., Watkins Glen, followed by burial at Pleasant View Cemetery in Reading Center.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
