Dorothy Age 63, of Watkins Glen, NY, died Monday, October 16, 2006, unexpectedly at home. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, Friday from 1-3 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m; Rev. J. Keith Kissel officiating; burial at Lakeview Cemetery, Watkins Glen. Survivors include her husband, Henry; children, Melissa (Robert) Teed of Reading Center, Michael (Teresa) Scholtisek of Odessa, Eric (Amy) Scholtisek of Watkins Glen, Hayley Scholtisek of Burdett; sisters and brothers, Judy Jones of Coopers Plains, Linda Benjamin of Watkins Glen, Richard Smiley of Corning, Debbie (Jim) Ribble of Painted Post, Mona Crawford of Elizabethtown, KY; mother, Margie Southard, of Corning; and three grandchildren, Allison Teed, and Reagan and Owen Scholtisek. She was predeceased by her father, William T. Smiley; and grandson, Ian Scholtisek. Dorothy recently retired from serving 20 years with the ARC of Schuyler County.
