Edward Dugue Jr.

Age 82, of Dugue Road, Valois, NY, died September 8, 2025 at Cayuga Medical.

He is survived by four children:  son, Edward Dugue III (Patricia Dugue) of Raleigh, NC, daughters, Jeanine Dugue of Holiday,Florida, Jennifer Dugue of Endicott, NY, and Janice Dugue of Binghamton, NY, sister Kathryn Seymour of Ithaca, NY, five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Edward was born on July 30, 1943, the son of Edward Sr. and Mary (Weiser) Dugue. He spent his youth on the family farm on Dugue Road, a place that shaped his deep love for country life. Educated at Watkins Glen Central High School, Edward went on to dedicate many years of service as a custodian at Chenango Valley High School in Binghamton, where he was known for his kindness and warm spirit.

An avid train enthusiast and passionate photographer, Edward cherished the beauty of nature and the simple joys of life. His love for animals, particularly his beloved dog Tuffy, reflected his gentle and caring heart. Edward was also a beloved volunteer at Cayuga Medical Center, where he touched the lives of many with his compassion

Family and friends are invited to a graveside memorial service to celebrate his life on Friday (September 19th) at 11:00am at the Seneca Union Cemetery, 6292 NY-414, Hector, NY. Arrangements with Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, Watkins Glen.
