Age 79, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away December 16, 2016.
A GRAVESIDE COMMITTAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, AUGUST 26TH, AT 2:00PM AT LAKEVIEW CEMETERY, SR 14, WATKINS GLEN.
She was born in Wellsburg, NY on October 24, 1937, the daughter of Edward and Myrtle Conklin. Liz graduated from Southside High School in 1955 and worked as an Account Clerk for Sears & Roebuck in Elmira.
She was predeceased by her first and second husbands, Lawrence Erickson and Andrew Barrows; and 6 siblings, Edward, Robert, Charles, William Conklin, Margaret Michaels and Dorothy Stack. She is survived by her beloved life partner and best friend, Gerald “Tob” Tobey; daughter, Barbara Erickson Batley of Princeville, HI; son, Robert (Kelly) Barrows of Elmira; step-son, Andrew Joel Barrows of West Point, TN; brother and sister-n-law, Clifford and Ginny Conklin of Wellsburg, NY; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday (Dec. 21) from 12pm-1pm; followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00pm.
