Eva J. Galligan
Age 76, of Beaver Dams, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 17th, at 2:00pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Corning. Eva was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Mildred Robinson, husband Charles Galligan, and brothers, Harold and Richard Robinson. Eva is survived by her children, Carol L. Strait of Watkins Glen, William McCarty (Kimberly Hill) of Watkins Glen, Gary McCarty of Beaver Dams, and “special son”, Joseph McCarty; sister, Jane Garlick of Oneonta; and sister-in-law, Margie Robinson of Binghamton; 10 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Eva retired from Corning Glass. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Care First (formerly Southern Tier Hospice), 11751 East Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830.
