Age 69, of Elmira and formerly Hector, NY, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2016 at home. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Monday (Dec. 5th) from 1pm-2pm; followed by a funeral service at 2pm and burial at Hector Presbyterian Cemetery. Ellen was predeceased by her parents, John and Barbara Wright and brother Jack Wright; all of Hector and great-granddaughter, Ava Collins. She is survived by 2 sons, Kyle (Alexandra) Kinney, of Watkins Glen and John Kinney of Corning; daughters, Christina “Cricket” Burkhardt (Chris Kiser) of Florida and Peggy Freeman-Sharkey (Douglas Sharkey) of Burdett; special granddaughter, Brittini Freeman; and grandchildren Taelor Nilson, Tori Kinney, and Colton Kinney, Bryce Burkhardt, Douglas Murray (Brianna), Angela Collins, Logan Kinney, Brianna Kinney, and Cheyenne Cashady; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Blaha and Mitchell Blaha, Brenndon Stimmermon, Kaleb Collins and Shelby Collins, Charla Murray; and many great friends.
