Age 78, of Watkins Glen, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Saturday (Oct. 14th) from 11:00am-1:00pm; followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm at the funeral home, and a committal service with military honors at Tyrone Union Cemetery. Floyd was born on February 18, 1939, the son of Stanley and Theresa Miller. He honorably served in the US Army and retired from International Salt/AKZO in Watkins Glen. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Miller; son, Kevin Miller of New Hartford, NY; and sisters, Wanda VanSkiver of Lakemont, NY, Joyce Blank of Burdett, and Carol Babcock of Altamonte Springs, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Richard “Ricky” Miller; and a sister, Dorinda Miller. Memorial donation in his memory may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 160 Allens Creek Rd.
