Age 78, of Burdett, NY, passed away April 1, 2015 at home after an extended illness. Fred was born in Auburn, NY, the son of William and Helen Isengard. He honorably served 5 years in the National Guard and worked as a professional truck driver for the Teamsters Local #317 of Syracuse. Fred was a longtime member of the Ithaca and Montour Falls Moose Lodges. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Patricia; infant daughter, Bobbi Lynn Snyder; son-in-law, Joe Ameigh; and great-grandson, Lucas Preble. He is survived by children, Walter (Judy) Isengard, William (Janet) Isengard, Dana Isengard, Hank Isengard, Melanie (Greg) Shepard, Roseanne Stott, and Kathy Yancey; sister, Mary Hunt; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and several cousins. A celebration of his life will be held at the Ithaca Moose Lodge, 367 Elmira Rd., Ithaca, NY on Saturday, April 11, starting at 3:00pm.
