Gifford W. Hurlbut
Age 92, of Montour Falls, passed away peacefully on Feb. 20, 2020 at the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility.
According to his request there will be no public visitation. There will be a graveside service at the Bitley Cemetery in Branchport, NY at the convenience of the family in the spring.
Gifford was an avid gardener and a lover of animals. His happiest times were visits from friends and family, especially to share his produce from the garden.
He is predeceased by his parents, Gifford G. Hurlbut and Florence (Lewis) Hurlbut; and a sister, Margaret (Hurlbut) Liddle. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Floyd Hull of Watkins Glen; niece Beth (Bill) Meehan; nephews James (Marjorie) Liddle, and Timothy (Anne) Hull; great-niece and great-nephew, Jessica (Patrick) Henderson, Jay (Lindsey MacIntosh) Meehan, and Matthew (Jennifer) Liddle.
