Age 94, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday from 4-6pm; followed by a funeral service at 6:00pm; Rev. Anne Campbell officiating. A committal service and burial will be held at 11:00am the following morning at Beaver Dams Cemetery. Helen was a graduate of Watkins Glen High School and a lifelong resident of Beaver Dams. She was a 65 year-plus member of the Moreland Presbyterian Church and the Olive Branch Grange #42 of Moreland. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Julia Maine, husband Clifford, son William, daughter Sharon Taylor, brothers Tracy and Clarence Maine, and great-grandson, Kyle Pack. Helen in survived by her children, Isaac Edmister (Ellie Savey) of Elmira, Morris Edmister (Thelma Carmell) of Beaver Dams, David Edmister (Chloe Gray) of Horseheads, son-in-law, Chuck Taylor; 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
