Age 95, of Watkins Glen, passed away March 7, 2015 at the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls. The family will receive visitors at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Tuesday, March 10th, from 4pm-6pm; followed by a funeral service at 6:00pm. Burial at Lakeview Cemetery will be held at a later date. Helen was born in Watkins Glen on June 8, 1919, the daughter of Leonard and Veronica Knapp. She graduated from Watkins Glen High School in 1938 and married William B. Huey, March 27, 1948. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years in 2006 and a daughter, Joan E. Huey in 1986. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Sheila Huey; and daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Luke Leszyk; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Richard) Logana, Cassandra (Austin) Leach, Benjamin (Amanda) Huey, and Sarah Huey; and a great-grandson, Atticus Leach. Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to the Family of Friends Campaign, c/o "Schuyler Health Foundation", Montour Falls, NY 14865 or your charity of choice.
