Lakeland, Florida – 76, formerly Watkins Glen, NY – Trudy Minichiello of Lakeland Florida passed away on June 14, 2016 and was born on November 28, 1939 in Elmira, NY. Trudy was an award winning beautician in her youth until she transitioned into an award winning wife, mother and grandmother for the remainder of her life. Trudy was predeceased by her father and mother, Richard R. and Martha B. Williams, brother Richard Williams Jr., and sister Martha (Marty) Hadlock. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 54 years, Thomas Minichiello, sons James (Lone) Minichiello, Thomas lll (Sandy) Minichiello, Michael (Pam) Minichiello, and Joseph Minichiello, and daughter Ann (Kyle) Tuttle. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, James (Lindsey) Minichiello, Stephen Minichiello, Tony (Alyssa) Minichiello, Dominic (Drew Moore) Minichiello, Maria (Robert) Moeslein, Dominick L.(Becca Antelis) Minichiello, Vincent Minichiello, Haley (Dale Carrigan) Tuttle, Adam Tuttle, and Jackie (Mike) Szymoniak. She was also recently blessed with the arrival of two great-grandchildren Presley Jean Minichiello and Michael Szymoniak. Also survived by her Sisters Suzanne (Vince) Faulisi, Judith (Walt) Seyter, brother Douglas (Clare) Williams, sisters-in-law Mary Beligotti and Nicholina Tipaldos, brothers-in-law Bill Minichiello and Gerald Hadlock, and several nieces and nephews. She and her husband owned and operated the Lakeview Motel and Restaurant in Watkins Glen for many years until they sold their business in 1988. During those years, she also raised her five children, operated a taxi service between the Watkins Glen High School and her home, put on numerous dinners at the Watkins Glen Elks club with her best friend Vera Franzese, and acted as a second mother to too many people to list. She was a very understated woman with an over-abundant heart and will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen.
