James A. Cummings

Age 51, of 305 Fifth St., Watkins Glen, NY passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, December 15, 2008.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, Friday, December 19, and Saturday from 2-4pm, with funeral services at 4:00pm; a funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00pm.

Pastor Roger Curtis will officiate; burial will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Reading Center at a later date.

He is survived by his loving companion Jackie Gublo and her son James, of Watkins Glen; daughter Michelle (Jody) Wright, of Trumansburg; parents Bruce and Betty Cummings, of Frostproof, FL; brother Bob Cummings, of Watkins Glen; sister Lauralee Cummings, of Auburn; four grandchildren, Jared Wright, Kenneth Wright, Arianna Wright, and Brittany Weeks; and several nephews.

Jim worked as a Package Line Operator at U.S. Salt in Watkins Glen for the past 14 years. In his spare time, he loved to follow his passion of fast motorcycles and muscle cars.
