Age 85, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday (August 6th) from 5-7pm; followed by a memorial service at 7:00pm. She was predeceased by her husband, John J Margreno; parents, Mary Hitchens and Donald Gaylord; brothers and sisters, Dolores “Dutch” Colunio, Norma Davis, Dora “Sis” Gaylord, Elizabeth “Betty” Morley, Gordon “Bud” Gaylord, Richard “Dickie” Gaylord and Lonie Gaylord. She is survived by her children, Tony (Connie) Margreno, Michael (Tammi) Margreno, Mary (Gary “Mort”) Mortimer, and Johnny (Jackie) Colunio; sister, Bernie (Joe) Salamendra; grandchildren, Michael (Jasmine) Margreno, Brandon Margreno, Meeka (Greg) Loiacono, Stephanie Margreno, Christine (Jim) Muson, Michele, and John Jr. Colunio; 9 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; aunt Lillian Personius, special companion and faithful dog Princess, best friend Dorothy D’ Agostino, and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jeannette and her late husband owned and operated Johnny’s Lanes in Watkins Glen. She was an avid Yankee and Nascar fan, and an avid bowler. She also loved to dance and play cards. The family would like to thank Care First and especially Aunt Barb, and of course Connie too, for their faithful caregiving.
