Age 80, of Burdett, NY, passed away October 25, 2021.
John was born in Newark, NJ, the son of John Sr. and Eliza May. He worked as a machinist Schweizer Aircraft in Hammondsport, retiring in the early 1990’s.
John was predeceased by his father John L. May Sr, and son Carter A. May. He is survived by his sons mother, Paula Ayers. Other survivors include his mother, Eliza Greene (NJ) daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Buddy Reed of Powder Springs, GA; brothers, Jerome May (MD) Bryan Shepard, Ronnie Shepard, and Tommy Lee Johnson (NJ) sisters, Antoinette May and Debra Deas (Ala) and three grandchildren, Matthew Reed, Tyana Reed and Lorenn Reed, and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
