John W Miller

Age 64, of Rock Stream, and beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to be with Jesus on Friday, July 2, 2021. John was born to Clifford and Mary Miller on June 27, 1957 in Montour Falls, NY. He is predeceased by both his parents and sister, Bonnie.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Scuteri Miller, his four children, Angela (Shannon) McDowell, Joshua (Samantha) Miller, Jimmy (Tara) Miller, Caleb (Autumn Cook) Miller, eight grandchildren, Casey, Bryce, Navaya, Samara, Mickey, Mya, Chandler, Axell and one great-granddaughter, Amillie.

He is also survived by his three brothers, Clifford (Cecilia) Miller, Dale (Christie) Miller, Kevin Miller and his four sisters, Ann (John) Shirley, Frances Griffith, Harriet Consier and Mary (John) Haviland, along with many other family members including the Scuteri family.

John was a hard worker, supporting his family doing construction, first for Elmira Structures and then as an independent contractor. He enjoyed motocross racing in his early years and later being the personal trainer and mechanic for his sons in their racing careers. His greatest joy was spending time with Donna, their children and grandchildren at their home. John enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, helping others and enjoying each day to the fullest.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Friday (July 9) from 12pm-2pm; followed by a funeral service at 2pm; burial at Pleasant View Cemetery, Reading Center.
