John R. Schoffner
Age 80, of Watkins Glen, passed away January 26, 2023.
John worked as a machine operator at Dresser-Rand for over 40 years and retired in 2005. He loved his family and loved spending time camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved going to New York Yankee games and heading to Watkins Glen International to watch Nascar.
He is survived by his sons, David (Heather) Schoffner of Bradford, Greg (Jennifer) Schoffner of Beaver Dams, Eric Schoffner (Jenn Landon), Montour Falls, and Lisa Schoffner-LaRow (Jeff LaRow) of Watkins Glen; sister Marion Harrison; brother Ronnie (June) Schaffner; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by wife Valarie Schoffner, son Kenneth Schoffner, brother Robert Schoffner, and sisters Lizzy Stoddard and Doris Oliver.
