Joyce (Skinner Lodge) DeVay

Age 80, of Odessa, passed away December 18, 2025.

Joyce was born in Montour Falls on September 22, 1945, the daughter of John and Catherine (Lutomske) Skinner. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Watkins Glen Central School for many years. She also previously worked for the Miller Ford Company and Learn Motor Company in Watkins Glen.

Joyce was predeceased her parents; and her husbands, Robert Lodge and Charles DeVay. She was also predeceased by her brother and sister, Richard and Carol Skinner; and brother-in-law, Zane Unterzuber.

She is survived by her son Paul (Cathy) Lodge of Reading Center; sister Sandra Unterzuber of Arizona; and sister-in-law Fran Skinner of Florida; two grandsons Dakota and Justin Lodge; and three nephews, Greg (Joanne), Mike, and Doug (Lisa) Reynolds.

A graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Watkins Glen in the spring and will be announced. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.Cancer.org).
