Age 76, of Montour Falls and formally Bath, NY and Punta Gorda and Cape Coral, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm-3:00pm at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Ken was born in Bath, NY on April 30, 1938, the son of Fay and Norma Stewart. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Kathleen Perrine. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pamela (Todd) Stewart; four children, Karen (Douglas) Benedict of Brockport, NY, Jim (Lynette) Stewart of Bath, NY, Laurie Stewart of Ragley, Louisiana, Bob (Karen) Stewart of Watkins Glen; sister, Charleen (Buck) Stewart of Willow, Alaska; brother-in-law, Daniel Perrine of California; and his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, whom he adored. He formerly worked at Dewitt Concrete in Burdett and most recently with his son at Southern Finger Lakes Equipment in Montour Falls. He was an avid NASCAR and Bill Elliott fan.
