Kevin P. Waters
Age 61, of Jefferson Village Apartments, Watkins Glen, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2022 following a short illness.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Watkins Glen on Friday (April 1) at 10:00am. An interment and committal will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cortland, NY at 1pm that same afternoon. The family invites friends and family to join them for one or both celebrations of Kevin’s life. There will not be a formal reception at this time. We invite you to gather, share stories and celebrate Kevin’s memory in your own way. Celebrate family, friendship and remember Kevin’s kind and gentle spirit. This is the legacy he leaves for all of us.
Kevin is predeceased by his father, Eugene, his stepbrother Brian, his nephew’s David and Jack and his beloved guide dog Bounce. He is survived by his mother Sandy, his brother’s Michael (Betsy), William (Kim), sister, Elizabeth (Joel) and his nieces and nephews, Madison, Elizabeth, MaryClare, Katherine, Teddy, Vivi, Dean (Courtney), Ben (Zoe), his faithful companion Saxton (his guide dog) and many amazing cousins and friends who were like family to Kevin.
