Kim DeVivi

Kim A. DeVivi, 50 of Burdett passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Keuka Comfort Care Home in Penn Yan, NY.


Calling hours will held from 2-4pm on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th Street, Watkins Glen; burial will be at Greensprings Natural Cemetery, 293 Irish Hill Rd., Newfield, NY, prior to services on Monday at 10:00am.


Memorial contributions in her name can be made to her son's David, Aaron & Ethan DeVivi, C/O P.O. Box 292, Penn Yan, NY 14527; The Keuka Comfort Care Home, 35 Rt. 54, Penn Yan, NY; or Southern Tier Hospice, Corning, NY.


Kim was born in Geneva, NY and was the daughter of the late Charles P. Dunham of Odessa, NY & the late Yvonne M. Jankowski/Dunham of Romulus NY. Kim was a self-employed Decorator & Holistic Healer, who loved her home in the beautiful National Forest. A talented artist, designer, and master woodworker, she spent twenty years building a successful hardwood manufacturing business in Seneca County with her former husband (Peter DeVivi Productions) Kim was a passionate herbologist and with her extensive knowledge of health properties of plants, co-founded Vitiv, Inc in 2003. Vitiv manufactures cosmesuticals in Schuyler County. Kim formerly served as Town Historian in Fayette.


She is survived by her son's David, Aaron & Ethan DeVivi; the love of her life and partner Simon Hadley; sister Karen M.(George Martin) Allen; brother's Mark C.(Tina) Dunham, Vince (Shannon) Turner; nieces & nephews Mark & Scott Dunham, Shawn & Mary Ann Bennett, Catrina & James Turner; great-nephew Dylan Bennett; step-mother June Dunham; step-father Joseph Minguez; many cousins and many dear friends.


Kim was pre-deceased by both of her parents & her grandparents.
