Lance Taft Stryker

Age 59, of Newfield, NY, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2009.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Teresa Stryker; sons Luke Stryker of Newfield, Ethan (Rebecca) Stryker of England; grandchildren, Timothy, Madeline and Collin Stryker; brothers Andrew (Susan) Stryker of CT; Adam Stryker of Washington, DC, mother-in-law Helen Phelps, of Cortland; brothers-in-law, Dale (MaryAnn) Phelps, Rochester, Karlton Roy (AnnMarie) Phelps, Homer, NY; and several beloved nieces.

Lance worked for Eastman Kodak in Rochester for 29 years as a Quality Engineer. He enjoyed boat building, genealogy, history and baseball.

A Memorial Service in his memory will be held at the Tyrone United Methodist Church on Friday July 31, at 3:00pm; Rev. Joe Auslander and Rev. James Laun will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Tyrone UM Church, PO Box 1, Tyrone, NY.
