Larry D. Freeman
Age 82, of Watkins Glen, passed away January 30, 2022.
A MEMORIAL CELEBRATION WILL BE HELD AT FROG HOLLOW MARINA IN WATKINS GLEN ON SATURDAY (JUNE 25) AT 11AM. A RECEPTION WILL FOLLOW (11AM-2PM).
Larry was born in Elmira, the son of the late Frank and Marian (Courtwright) Freeman. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Lois Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Valerie Freeman; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Kenny Barrell of Port Clinton, PA; brother Joseph (Tina) Munn of Elmira; three grandchildren, Kevin Barrell, Eric Barrell (Felecia Wetzel) and Jordan Thomas; and one great-grandson, Francis Stanley Barrell.
After retiring as a Maintenance Supervisor at Sweet Street Desserts in Reading, PA, in 2001, he and Valerie moved to Watkins Glen. Larry loved spending time on their boat at Frog Hollow Marina and Seneca Lake, and fishing with family and friends.
