Lawrence C. Berich, Sr.

Age 76, of Rt. 414, Burdett, NY, passed away unexpectedly, December 13, 2007.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, 10am-12noon at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen; a funeral service will follow at 12noon. Burial will be held at a later date at Chemung Cemetery, Chemung, NY. Memorials in his memory may be made in his memory to the Schuyler County Veterans Memorial Park.

Larry was born in Lansing, NY, the son of Cedric and Ellen (Eaton) Berich. He honorably served his country in the US Army Air Corps. Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman, and especially loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by four children, Lawrence C. Berich, Jr, of Elmira, James C. (Deenne) Berich, of Hinesville, GA, Janet (Monroe) Payne, of Ithaca, and Anne (Louis, Sr.) DeLong, of Lansing; companion, Marilyn Goldstein, of Burdett; brother, William (Rita) Berich, of Groton; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; wife Irene; and their infant daughter Nancy Marguerite.
