Linwood Standish Sr.

Linwood Myles Standish Sr. “Zeke”, 74 of Valois, N.Y went to be with his Lord on June 9th, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Janet M. Standish, 5 children Jacquelin M. Standish of Corning, Linwood M. Standish (Sheryl) of Burdett, Susan Standish Cecce (James) of Valois, Daniel S. Standish (Lois) of Burdett, and Greg D. Standish (Mary) of Burdett; 15 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, many more nieces and nephews, and his dear friends Harold Mosher and Buck and Jean Voorheis. He was a retired equipment operator for South Hill Construction, passionate fan of the Giants and Yankees, past president of the Connecticut Hill Snowmobile Club, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Seneca Union Cemetery Association, Inc. There will be a celebration of his life on Thursday, June 12th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pennsylvania Ave in Trumansburg from 2-4 pm with services immediately after.
