Age 58, of Burdett, NY, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Feb. 18, 2018. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Saturday (Feb. 24th) from 5pm-8pm; followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 8:00pm. Those wishing may consider a memorial donation in her memory to the Schuyler County Humane Society, PO Box 427, Montour Falls, NY 14865 (or online at www.SchuylerHumane.org) She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Palumbo; children, Vanessa Ganascioli-Riley, Shelby Ganascioli-Riley, Joseph Palumbo, Maya Palumbo; mother, Patricia Ganascioli (predeceased by her father, Richard Ganascioli); sister, Maria (Paul) Scrimale; dogs, Fiona, Gordon, and Otis; as well as many friends and relatives. Lisa was a compassionate person, this was expressed through her work, friendships, community, and especially her family. Lisa’s greatest pleasure in life was watching her kids grow.
