Louisa Shepard

Louisa Shepard, age 88, of Rock Stream, NY, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Rock Stream Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 19, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Lucinda O'Leary will officiate. Burial at Rock Stream Cemetery.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William H. Shepard III; children, Suzanne Shepard (husband, Tredwell Burch) of Binghamton, William H. Shepard IV (wife, Cynthia Alford) of Elmira, Lisa Shepard (husband, Roger Russi) of Concord, NC; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Louisa was born in Claghorn, PA, the daughter of Gottfred and Victoria (Krantz) Stenberg. She was a member of the Rock Stream Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon and a member and leader of the Ladies Aid Membership Society and Presbyterian Women's Group.
