Marion Webster

Age 90, of Montour Falls and formerly Rock Stream, NY, passed away February 16, 2023 after a brief illness. 

She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Vernon, in April of 2022. 

She is survived by her son, Donald Webster of Watkins Glen; daughter, Tina Churches (Bruce) of Branchport NY; grandson, Jeremy Webster (Dawana) of Rhome TX; and granddaughter, Laura Sabatini (Jason) of Trumansburg NY. 

Marion was the office manager for Drs. Tague and Norton, and moved with them to Schuyler Hospital. She earned her teaching certificate and started her second career teaching Adult Education with BOCES in both New York State and Pennsylvania.  She was also a Past president of NYS Society of Medical Assistance. Marion was an active member of St. James’ Episcopal Church in Watkins Glen, ZONTA, and the VFW in Watkins Glen.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday (February 21) at 11:00am at St. James’ Episcopal Church, 112 6th St., Watkins Glen; burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.  A reception will be held at the church.
