Age 91, of Burdett, NY, passed away January 1, 2014. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday, January 8th, from 11:00am-1:00pm; followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Jeanne Bleiler; and burial at Jones Cemetery in Trumansburg. Marjorie was born February 26, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles and Amy Moore. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd and son-in-law, Glenn Hoke. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Charles Bleiler and Gerald Bleiler, both of Burdett; daughter, Carol Hoke of Dundee; grandson, Eric Bleiler of Newfield; cousin, Mike Beardsley of Interlaken, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Marjorie was the former Registrar for the Village of Burdett. She also formerly worked at Cayuga Medical as a Laboratory Technician and Lakeside Nursing Home in Ithaca. She was a member of the Searsburg Community Church, Searsburg Grange #494, Odessa American Legion Post #676, Montour Moose #426, Women of the Moose #1401, and the Burdett Women’s Auxiliary. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to her church, Searsburg Community Church, 6024 Brook Rd Trumansburg NY 14886.
