Age 68, of Hector, NY, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, December 14, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Milford; children, Sherri Bennett and Eric (Lindsay) Upham; step-children, Debbie (Jeffrey) Neal, Vickie Howlett, Julie (Douglas) Sarsfield, Mikel (Sharon) Upham, and Cathy (John) Decker; brothers and sisters, Dorothy Nye, June Bush, Daniel (Karen) Morse, and Dennis (Peggy) Morse; special grandchildren, Angela Upham, Ryan Upham, and Bella Upham; also several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary Ellen was born in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Russell and Clara Morse. She worked as a clerk for Schuyler County for 32 years. A private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date at the family’s convenience.
