Age 74, of Watkins Glen and Montour Falls, NY, passed away March 30, 2016 at Hospicare of Ithaca. Mary was born in Dover, DE on May 26, 1941. Mary worked as a waitress at Scuteri’s Pizzeria & Restaurante and Chef’s Diner for many years. She was also a former member of the VFW Auxiliary Post in Watkins Glen and a volunteer at the Watkins Glen Chamber of Commerce. She will always be remembered for her love of family, friends, animals, helping people, cooking, traveling and fun. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1990; and her mother Emma Poore. Also, step-son Raymond Morrissette, Jr.; and a step-daughter, Jeannette Morrissette. She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Sharon) M. Morrissette, and Robert E. Morrissette; step-son, Jon Pierre Morrissette; grandchildren, Sara, Eric, Cassie, Allison, Ray, Frank, and Tina; and a special aunt and uncle who raised her, Helen and Jim Masten; and numerous other relatives and many special friends. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Sunday (April 3rd) from 1:00pm-3:00pm; followed by a memorial service at the funeral home. The celebration of her life will continue after the service at the Elks Lodge in Watkins Glen. The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to all of the caregivers and friends that helped Mary these past few years.
