Maxine Woodward

Age 81, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away December 28, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Tuesday, December 30, from 2-4pm; funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00pm; burial at Glenwood Cemetery

Maxine was born on September 11, 1927, in Baileysville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Conway and Tilda Harvey. She was recently predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Omar Woodward; also predeceased by her son Larry Woodward; brothers Joe and Thomas Harvey; and sister Geneva Bray.

She is survived by daughters Ruth Marvel of Watkins Glen, and Connie (Richard) Ochoa of Wahiawa, HI; son Robert Woodward of Hockley, TX; sister-in law Ruth Snow, of Odessa; brother-in-law Harold Woodward, of Plainwell, MI; grandchildren, Wendy Marvel of Venice, CA, Cheryl (Scott) Cleveland of Watkins Glen, George Ochoa and Allyson Ochoa, both of Wahiawa, HI; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Star Cleveland.

Maxine formerly worked at Shepard-Niles in Montour Falls.
