Age 74, of Watkins Glen and Daytona Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012. There are no prior visiting hours. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Lakeview Cemetery in Watkins Glen.
Mel worked for AKZO Salt Company in Watkins Glen. He was predeceased by his mother Helen, brother Richard, sister-in-law Mary LaRue, brother-in-law Grant Doland, and grandson Kyle Gregory. He is survived by his children, Kim Robert LaRue of Bath, Linda Gregory of Watkins Glen, Greg (Lisa) LaRue of Elmira, and Diane (Charlie) Foster of Green Brook, NJ; brother, Clifford (Marylou) LaRue of Rock Stream; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Mike Lisowski of Watkins Glen; grandchildren, Robert LaRue, Samantha (Dave) Bailey, Erin and Sydney Foster, Kody Gregory, Chase and Kailey LaRue; Great Granddaughter Emma Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
