OAKS, Michael "Tod"

Age 55, of Millport, passed away after a brief illness on October 20, 2009. According to his wishes there will be no funeral services. Tod was a talented musician, enthusiastic ZZ Top fan, and a member of the Oaks Brothers Band. He worked as a custodian for the Odessa-Montour Central School District. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Oaks; daughter, Allyson Oaks; parents, William and Joan Oaks of Watkins Glen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglass (Darienne) Oaks of Burlington, VT, Mark (Carolyn) Oaks of Fabius, Jonathan (Penny) Oaks of Marietta; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen (Edward) Peterson of Veteran; father-in-law, Richard Drum of Montour Falls; sisters-in-law, Beverly Rhynehart of Millport, and Catherine (Skip) Orcutt of Elmira Heights; brother-in-law, Rich Drum of Elmira Heights; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Mary Drum. Memorials in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society , 1316 College Ave., Elmira, NY.
