PETER BOND

Age 85 died unexpectedly on May 8, 2024.  He was born in Ithaca N Y on Feb 3, 1939, to Lyman and Petie Bond.

He lived the majority of his life in Hector, NY.

Peter attended Watkins Glen High School.  He had several careers.  One of which was driving a truck for Central Asphalt.  His favorite job was tending his vegetable garden.

Peter married Charlotte on Dec 28, 1995, and lived on the Mathews Road where he enjoyed his garden and hunting.  He was a great brother.  Always available to mow his sister’s lawn or repairing his brother’s equipment.  He took a big interested in his Grandson, Jonathan, teaching him to hunt and fish.

Peter is survived by his wife, Charlotte, daughters Petra (Bobby) Carson and Haley Bond and son Lyman (Joe) Bond and his wife Jullianne.  Brothers, Tony (Linda), John (Mary) and Stephen (Beckey); sisters Mary Oberhaus, Alice (Peter) McWalters and Sarah (Chris) Conley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

Peter was predeceased by his parents, brothers Bill and Nicholas, and infant daughter.
