Age 59, of Sugar Hill Rd., Watkins Glen, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls. He was born on January 15, 1956 in Montour Falls, the son of Charles and Edith Jackson. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers, Kenneth Jackson and Russell Hill; and sister, Jean Ekenstam. He is survived by a sister, Patricia (Ray) Ameigh of Prattsburg, and Judith (Bill) Rice of Bath; godson, David Scholtisek and his children, Rebecca and Elizabeth Scholtisek, and Theresa; also several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Richard served in the US Air Force. He worked as a cook at Seneca Lodge. He especially enjoyed to hunt and fish. According to his wishes there are no funeral services.
