HECTOR- Age 74, of Hector, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, February 21, 2014 at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 905 N. Decatur St., in Watkins Glen; burial with military honors will be accorded at Holy Cross Cemetery following the Mass. Dick was the proprietor of Chateau LaFayette Reneau Winery. Prior to building and opening the winery in 1986, Richard sold commercial printing for Eusey Press in Massachusetts for 33 years. Richard was born in Cleveland, Alabama, the son of Robert and Melba Reno. He served in the US Army, stationed in Massachusetts and Germany. Richard is survived by his loving wife and partner, Betty; son, Christopher Reno of Wyoming; daughter, Daphne Gruener of North Carolina; sisters, Bonnie (Sidney) Brannon of Alabama, Monnie Riddle of Tennesee, and Donna Reno of Alabama; also three grandchildren, Robert Reno, Samantha Reno, and Cecily Gruener.
