COVERT, Robert A.

Age 45, of Watkins Glen, passed away on August 25, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer. Friends and relatives are invited to a graveside service in his memory on Saturday, September 5, at 11:00am at the Union Cemetery of Hector, Rt. 79, Burdett, NY. Bob is survived by his children, Robert and Amanda Covert; parents Robert and Margaret Covert of Watkins Glen; brother, Thomas (Pam) Covert of Farmington, NY; sisters, Jeanne (John) Green of Illinois, Carol (Bill) Smith of Montour Falls, Beth Covert of Watkins Glen; nieces and nephews, Carly, Jessica, Patrick and Ryan; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends. He was predeceased by his mother and sister, Gerlinde and Elke. In memory of Bob, those wishing to contribute to his children's trust fund may send donations to Carol Smith, 149 N.
