Age 80 of Montour Falls and formerly Watkins Glen, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Schuyler Hospital.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, from 12pm-2pm at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, with funeral services following at 2:00pm.

Bob was born on June 6, 1930 in Hector, NY, the son of William and Alice Dove Pike. He honorably served in the US Army and worked at Acme Markets until his retirement in 1988. Bob loved baseball, golfing, fishing and hunting. His best love was bowling with the Senior Citizens, and instructing and helping his children and grandchildren with the game. He had a great love for his whole family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Deanna L. “Dee” Pike; daughters, Vivian (Harold J.) Rappleye of Burdett, Mary (Kevin) Teed of Watkins Glen; sons, William R. “Bill” Pike of Watkins Glen, Scott Pike (Shelley) of Burdett; six grandchildren, Jason, Stephanie, Anthony, Stacey, Nicholas, and Brett; great-grand daughter Leah; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Bob was predeceased by both his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
